This will be an experiential class. Participants will be invited to lay down on towel or yoga mat or sit in a chair. We will start at our head and travel down the body, bringing awareness to each body part and offering it gratitude for doing it's job. We'll be invited to become aware of when our minds wander to outside distractions or thoughts and bring our awareness back to the body part being addressed. Sort of a yoga shavasana / gratitude meditation / mindfulness exercise all rolled into one! Participants should leave feeling a greater connection between their mind and physical body, awareness of the power we have to direct our mind, and a greater appreciation for all the things our body does without us even thinking about it.
